Discussion groups and notifications
HEZZ Answers stores group memberships, invitations, roles, discussions and uploaded attachments. Public groups can be read by anyone. Private discussions and attachments require accepted membership. Reported private content may be reviewed by HEZZ administrators for moderation. Visibility is fixed when a group is created.
If you enable Android notifications, HEZZ stores a Firebase device registration token associated with your account and your notification preferences. Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers announcements and group activity alerts. Private group alerts use generic text. You can change these preferences in Account → Notifications; signing out unregisters the current device. Disabling notifications removes the registered notification devices from your HEZZ account.
Deleting your account removes your group memberships and authored discussions. Groups you own and their discussions are removed; transfer ownership first if the group should continue.
